Looking for a full-time school option?
Through our partnership with Prenda, students can enroll in a TEFA-eligible private school program while experiencing BOLD's small, Christ-centered learning environment. Students receive personalized academics, hands-on learning, real-world life skills, strong relationships, and the flexibility that makes microschooling different.
Want to keep homeschooling but add more support?
Homeschool families can use TEFA funds for eligible BOLD programs and services while maintaining the flexibility of homeschooling. Students can access hands-on learning, life skills, service projects, field trips, and opportunities to learn alongside other students.
There’s more than one way to use TEFA at BOLD. Depending on your student’s TEFA funding and enrollment pathway, eligible funds can be used toward:
Full-Time BOLD School — Apply eligible TEFA funds toward tuition for our private Christian microschool.
Homeschool Programs — Homeschool families can use TEFA funds toward eligible BOLD homeschool programs and services.
Friday Enrichment — Homeschool students and students attending another private school may use eligible TEFA funds for BOLD’s hands-on Friday enrichment program.
Already using TEFA at another private school? You may still be able to use remaining TEFA funds for eligible BOLD programs.
BOLD is a small, Christ-centered microschool where students are known deeply, challenged personally, and given room to grow into who God created them to be.
Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, learning is personalized around each student’s needs, strengths, and potential. Students build strong academics while developing critical thinking, confidence, independence, practical life skills, creativity, and the ability to solve real-world problems.

TEFA funding depends on your child’s enrollment and eligibility.
For the 2026–27 school year, eligible students attending a participating private school may receive up to $10,474 in TEFA funding toward eligible tuition and educational expenses.
Eligible students who are not enrolled in a participating private school may receive up to $2,000 per year for approved educational expenses.
Some students with disabilities may qualify for different funding amounts based on eligibility.

Yes. Homeschool families can use eligible TEFA funds toward approved BOLD programs. Families may choose homeschool support and enrichment options or apply eligible funds toward BOLD’s full-time program.
Yes. Through BOLD’s partnership with Prenda, eligible students can use private school TEFA funding toward full-time enrollment at BOLD.
Yes. Eligible homeschool families may apply their TEFA funds toward BOLD’s full-time program, even if the award does not cover the full cost of tuition.
Potentially, yes. Families may be able to use remaining eligible TEFA funds toward approved BOLD programs, including Friday enrichment, even when their child attends another private school.
