BOLD takes the microschool model further. We combine the personalization and flexibility of homeschooling with the structure, academic rigor, community, and accountability of an accredited private Christian school.
Instead of moving an entire class through the same material at the same pace, students learn at their individual level. They can close gaps where needed, move ahead when ready, and spend less time on work they have already mastered.
Our focused 2-Hour Learning model makes core academics more efficient, leaving more of the school day for critical thinking, hands-on projects, practical life skills, creativity, entrepreneurship, leadership, collaboration, and real-world problem solving.

BOLD is built around a simple idea: students shouldn't have to spend six or seven hours a day sitting at a desk to receive an exceptional education.
We use focused, personalized academics to make learning more efficient—then intentionally use the rest of the school day to develop the skills, experiences, relationships, and character children need for life.
Students complete about two focused hours of core academics each day using personalized curriculum, adaptive technology, direct instruction, and support from their Learning Coach.
Instead of moving through material simply because it corresponds to their age or grade, students work from where they actually are and progress toward where they're capable of going.
The goal isn't to do less school. It's to use academic time more effectively so students have time to learn more of what matters.

There are no rows of desks and no expectation that students spend all day sitting still.
A typical day combines focused academics with opportunities to move, create, collaborate, explore, and apply what students are learning.
Students might spend their day working independently toward personalized academic goals, meeting with their Learning Coach for support, collaborating with friends on a challenge, cooking a meal, building something, working outdoors, tackling a real-world problem, or developing a project based on their interests.
Some learning happens on a computer. Some happens around a table. Some happens in the kitchen, outdoors, on the floor, or out in the community.
BOLD feels less like a traditional classroom and more like a small startup company—students working toward goals, collaborating, solving problems, creating things, and taking real ownership of their work. It’s active, purposeful, and sometimes a little messy, because real learning often is.

BOLD School is an accredited private Christian K–12 microschool located in Haslet, Texas, serving families throughout North Fort Worth and surrounding communities.
Convenient student transportation is available to and from our Roanoke pickup location.
BOLD offers full-time private school enrollment as well as select homeschool programs and enrichment opportunities.
Texas families may be able to use TEFA funds toward BOLD School.
BOLD offers multiple ways for eligible families to use Texas Education Freedom Account funds, including private school tuition and eligible homeschool programs.
Families receiving homeschool-level TEFA funding may also apply eligible funds toward BOLD's full-time private school program, and students attending another private school may be able to use remaining eligible funds for select BOLD homeschool enrichment programs.
